S outh Pointe Chandler started out on Grosse lle to provide casual watermen Lake Erie's west basin with access to hard to locate hardware, and has become the "go to" people to get the specialized items that are required by either competitive or cruising yachts replaced or repaired.
We have an a truly amazing collection of individuals with impressive resumes of applicable experience. Some came directly from the marine trades, several hold USCG documentation as deck or engine officers or ratings and others are just people that have lived their entire lives on the water. They are all people that enjoy being on the water and want to help others enjoy it as they do. Many of the crew have significant university education, but there may not be room for it on the bottom of the sailing resume when we file it. You should always feel free to ask.
Please, do be aware that what we value most may also limit the availability of some of the crew during the season. As many are involved in one or more levels of competition, they may be unavailable during significant events. We do have a schedule, and we do plan around it. |
